although june and jennell were both biological science majors at the same college, they didn’t meet in a science class. instead, they met and bonded through the intense frustration they felt while taking an introductory sociology course. go figure.
j&j both spend way too much time surfing the web, looking through site after site of nothing in particular. they read blogs and sort through pages of mostly completely useless things. don’t be mistaken, though — they love the useless things. a little too much.
as fun as it is to see insanely cool, new, and futuristic things online, they can’t help but feel a little sad when they know that the shiny toy in front of them is unattainable. that’s why they started this blog.. to make posts about things that people like them could actually get. still cool, still interesting, but ever so wonderfully attainable.
jennell’s main interest is in fashion, while june’s completely obsessed with what she calls “girly tech,” which means cute/awesome/neat/<insert your own adjective here> gadgets and more casual video games.
brian is the newest addition to allthingsuseless, providing his manly taste to the mix.
j&j hope you enjoy their blog!
Hi Jennell! Cool blog you have here Ladies!
I believe you asked me about the rice pudding on my blog and if it was possible to use other flavoring than orange blossom water. Of course you can use vanilla, almond exract, orange extract or even use hal cocnut milk, half milk. Although I don’t know about the peppermint extract since I don’t like this flavor!
The thing is to add the flavoring at the end so that it doen’t evaporate with the cooking.
Keep up the good work Jennell and June!
I just love your blog!!! I love all the different things that you dont normally see you have info on. Lots of fun!!!
