no more rotten tomatoes and sour milk.

i always buy fruits and vegetables when i do my grocery shopping each week with the intention of cooking and eating the fruits. but far too often i get busy during the week or things come up and i end up eating out most meals and just about all the food in the fridge goes bad. just yesterday, my boyfriend threw out half a bottle of milk that had gone sour… i might be a carbon waster but that doesn’t mean i like buying food and just throwing it away at the end of the week!
the days ago digital day counter is a really useful gadget to keep around the house, particularly in the kitchen. this product has actually been around for a couple years, having been featured on oprah and hgtv. they come with magnets or suctions on the back or even with elastic bands so you can literally affix these to any sort of container or package of food you might have. i really like how informative this site is, even with a food storage guide so you have a better idea of how long food can be stored before spoiling.
there’s many uses for the digital day counter and they come with 2 in a pack for $10. it’s a little pricey because i would definitely want to have a good 6 or 10 of these handy. but at the end of the day, spending a little more is better than getting food poisoning!
