i’ve never actually used smashbox products before but the photo finish foundation primer always wins best of allure and sephora and what not… and given the fact that i can get some stuff for free, this is a good opportunity to try out some of their things to see how i like it. with the gift certificate you get a sample size of the photo finish foundation primer ($36 for full size), a small compact that has a sample sized blush in sunbeam ($24 for full size) and soft lights – an all over shimmer powder in glimmer ($28 for full size), and also a travel size blush brush ($38). the brush also has its own little zip up pouch – one of my mac brushes has this and i love how it’s perfect to just toss in a makeup bag. i mostly just want these little sample sizes because it’s good for traveling… i hate carting around the full size of any beauty product when i’m just going somewhere for a couple days.
